It will all be a distant dream soon. This very day is the single most difficult. Just waiting is the hardest. I am 12 days out of surgery. Feel pretty good. Much much better than I expected. I have had 2 bouts of afib which is not uncommon for about 20% of us. I'm hoping you escape that and think you will. You are a almost there! I understand the fear but be happy also! Almost done.

I have been were you have been......there is know easy answer. I know having faith in your surgeon, perhaps talking with him might help. I just got a few things in order and got it done. I tried not to think about it.........I cried a little when I was alone, but remember this is pretty common surgery with excellent outcomes.
