One week ago today David went into the operating room at Abbott NW Heart Hospital for Valve replacement and aortic resection, and were back at home already!! (actually he was released on Sunday) David made and incredibly fast recovery because of all of our wonderful friends praying for just that. God says in His word that we do not have because we do not ask....so WE ASKED AND HE ANSWERED. He is resting alot and using meds to control pain. one strange thing tho... he is cold now. He has always been very warm. has anyone else experienced this after valve replacement? Well off to check on my patient!

Hi Kerri and Dave here! Well David is set for surgery at Abbott NW hosp in Mpls on March 29th. He will be having his artic valve replacd with a porcine tissue valve, and ascending aortic resection by Dr Ksshetry. Trying to get everything in order at home. Daves off work now getting the hang of being home more. About Two months worth were told. we are hoping for the best and know whatever happens is out of our hands anyway. God is in charge of everything, wonder what His plan for all of this is??? time will tell. Ill check in after the surgery and let you all know whats what.

I have no technology prowess! It took me at least five back and forths to get to me writing a new journal entry!!! Gosh my teenagers would think I'm so lame. anyway David is so much more at ease about this whole process he, or we face at this stage of life, praise the Lord. What a relief! David Is bellering for me now to come and watch some baseball that hasnt even started yet. So I'll check in on Mon ot Tues after we go to the Doc. It's good to be a part of a group of people sharing the same lot in life so dont let us slide!! On to tiling the floor tomorrow, No rest for us Sunday but first things first, Giving whatever He asks.
