New update Feb 16, 2018 . Last month had 2 days of extensive testing of all sorts and a cath procedure to check arteries to see if I was a canadate for TAVAR Aorta valve replacement, health is good all arteries good. IM not a at risk patient and young enough , 66 that open heart should be ok. TAVAR is still new don't have results through 5 yrs. open heart replacement at least 15 yrs , and if any problems down the line they could then do TAVAR. Open Heart 2 times in 8 yrs. Surgery is scheduled for Feb 27

Well Its been a long time since I put anything in my Journal, over a year. But I had a little set back. Since my last EKG more than 6 months ago,I developed a Atrial Flutter ,not good.I was trying to get cleared for a Hernia operation and they found the Flutter. The top part of the heart doesnt beat right it flutters, not pumping the blood out as it should.Had 2 days in Hospital for Catheter Ablation .They go in your groin arteries, wire up into your Heart and seal the cells causing the wrong electrical impulse . To many and you get a pacemaker. Well it worked.Im home ,lets hope it lasts. Daryl
