I just got off the phone with my cardiologist office confirming that they have sent my records and test results off to the two surgeons I will be meeting with over the next two weeks. While I consider myself lucky to have found my aneurism before this became an immediate surgical concern, it is still feels odd to know that surgery appears to have become a \"when\" and not an \"if\" as it was all my life when I had only the bicuspid aortic valve to monitor!
While I have already photocopied the page out of Adam\'s book regarding questions to ask the surgeon, the only other (silly) concerns I have are regarding skiing, mountain biking and roller coasters. Does anyone out there know of any additional questions that I should be thinking of? Has anyone out there had this procedure and gone back to sports, etc.?
Thank you to anyone who has any information to share! :)
