I was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis/Aortic Insufficiency when I was eight years old.....with the encouragement of my PCP, I went to see my cardiologist last year in about June. Long time, huh? She recommended that I have a Cardiac Catheterization to find out the extent of the damage to my valve at that time. I was one step away from surgery at by then. By September of 2009, it was time for surgery. MRI, EKGs and such were done to confirm. Anywho, I am scheduled for surgery on December 16th. Thank you for being there.
