Send Thomas a NoteAbout Me
I've had the dreaded 'heart murmur' almost my entire life.
Now at age 63 I've been diagnosed with Aortic Valve Stenosis that is serious enough to warrant replacement. My heart doctor performed a Heart Catheterization job on me last week that indicated my heart arteries are perfectly clear and my aortic valve is showing a serious pressure differential. The previous diagnosis by a stress echocardiogram is confirmed. After pre-op testing at the Cleveland Clinic they found that my valve is also Bicuspid. Thanks to The Patients Guide to Heart Valve Surgery I am well informed.
