About Me (In My Own Words)
Was born with a bicuspid aortic valve and first diagnosed at 13 with aortic regurgitation. Six years ago was diagnosed with aortic stenosis. This April went in for a routine echo where my new doctor felt it was time to replace the valve.
With the CT last week, they found my aorta needs repair. I still have more testing to do.
I am preparing for surgery the end of July.
