About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a deformed aortic valve by the age of 19 in 1998 I had my first open heart surgery for aortic valve replacement I went with a human tissue valve. That valve lasted 7 years and in 2005 I had to have my second open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve that time I went with a cow valve which would last almost 9 years. In 2009 I had my first heart attack which also lead to congestive heart failure. In 2014 I had my third open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve this time I went with a mechanical valve.
