Paul's Profile

I am a 63 year old survivor of bacterial endocarditis which I contracted in March of 2009. For the last year I have been tracking my progress with echocardiograms. Now my cardiologists believe that both my aortic and mitral valves are severely leaking. I am scheduled for hart valve surgery at the Cleveland Clinic on August 11, 2010. My hope is to have the mitral valve repaired, and if the aortic valve cannot be repaired, it will be replaced.
