Hi! I am 36 yrs old and recently told I need a mitral valve repair. My MVP was diagnosed as a teenager, but never gave me any trouble. Then within one year, it went from mild to moderate to severe regurgitation. I have a great husband and two wonderfull children, ages 19 months and 4 1/2 yrs. They have been very supportive and understanding during this time. I look forward to getting my energy and life back to enjoy the many years ahead!
