About Me
Congenital (b. 1956) aortic defect w/ valve replacement in 1977 age 20 (by J. Kirklin at Birmingham AL). Approaching need to conduct other repair (graft for ascending aortic aneurysm), probably also requiring new valve & conduit assembly. Permanent resident of coastal Calif. but spending next two years in Washington DC.
Scheduled for open-heart procedure March 9 @ Johns Hopkins (Baltimore) by Duke Cameron, Cardiac Surgeon In Charge .
