I am a 39 year old mother of 8 year old twins with congenital aortic stenosis. I was recently told that it is time for a valve replacement. I am scheduled for surgery on June 13 with Dr. Gaudiani in Monterey. We are leaning toward the On-X valve for its potential of a reduced need for blood thinners.
