Hi everyone! My name is Madeline Kargl and im 24 years old. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 5 years and am living in San Diego due to hubby being in the Navy. As of last Monday I was completely healthy to my knowledge. I have always had migraines, fatigue, and at times chest pain but after all who didn't?...I thought. I was given a referral from my primary doctor to get a murmur checked out. I was not even worried, both my parents have murmurs and wasn't even going to bother having anyone come along. Asking my husband to come along was a last minute thing but after my 2 hour appointment I can't thank God enough for having hubby by my side. I was taken into the office and explained how my heart was going to require some serious attention almost instantly. Taken back by what I was being told my doctor expressed to me how I was suffering from Mitral Regurgitation and that my surgery would need to take place within the year. After I left I was called again and now told my surgery must be given within the year of 2011. I have been feeling all kinds of feelings and am reaching out to everyone I can for support and prayers!
