My Story:
I am 45 years old and was diagnosed with aortic stenosis. i was at the hospital thinking i had a stroke, tingling down the right side of mouth and arm, turned out it was a migraine, but they wanted to do full workup w/cat scans, mris, ekgs, i guess they saw something. i was born w/a congential heart murmur and no one told me i had to be concerned. i was told at 21, go on lead your life as normal. i guess i was lucky they found it. that was aug 24th and now october 31st, i am 16 days away from my heart valve being replaced, a little nerve wrecking, i must say! but i trust and like me cardiologist and surgeon.
