About Me
I was recently diagnosed with moderate to severe regurgitation in July of 2009. Told to follow up in six months. I decided to research some surgeons in California as they have excellent surgeons. I went and had a Supine Stress Echo, TEE, Angiogram and met with the surgeon who said surgery should be done within three months. I am scheduled to see my cardiologist in 2 weeks. I'm confused why my cardiologist wants to monitor, but a surgeon saw severe regurgitation immediately on the supine stress echo and recommends surgery soon. Am I waiting too long, am I jumping the gun too fast??? Anyone else have these questions?
