About Me
Some of you may not know it but Ken was told about four years ago that he had a heart murmur and was told that it was due to mild mitral reguritation. After a few years I was after Ken to see a doctor to have it checked out again and this time to establish with a cardiologist who would monitor it on a regular basis. So on our first visit to the cardiologist (after an EKG and echo) we were told that Ken would probably need heart surgery to repair and possibly replace his mitral valve as it was now classified as severe mitral valve prolapse. That is quite a shock to hear at just 37 years old. I hope to keep our family and friends informed through this journal of sorts as we navigate the things to come :-)
