About Me (In My Own Words)
Suffered "mild" heart attack on July 25, 2013. No significant damage but cardiac cath revealed moderate to severe aortic and severe mitral stenosis. Going to have both valves replaced with mechanical valves on October 16 th at University of Iowa. Have been reading like crazy, including Adam's book. Trying to be as mentally and physically prepared for not only the surgery but the recovery too. Looking forward to having my energy back!!!
