My doctors have been watching my heart problems for about 6 years. Once the aneurysm has grown to 4.9 they decided it was time for surgery. My surgery has been set for Jan.6. Needless to say I am very nervous about it. I am 70 years old and overweight and that causes me much concern. I am reading Adam Pick's book and learning alot about the surgery and recovery I am facing. Sure would appreciate hearing from others who have "been there."
