About Me (In My Own Words)
I'm a 37 year old woman that was born with bicuspid aortic valve. I'm married and have two handsome boys and two beautiful step daugthers.
Couple of months ago my cardiology told me that it was time for surgery. Thanks to this website I find Dr. Accola and his assistant. We meet and they make me feel very confortable and explain me the different types of valves out there. We decide to go with the on-x valve and the surgery is expected to be in three weeks.
Your book and patient's stories has been very helpful to me.
