I have been a healthy person most of my life. I went to the gym most days and ate a fairly healthy diet. I am 47 years of age and recently started to struggle keeping fit and noticed that I got tired easily. I went to several doctors before finding one who sent me to my cardiologist. He performed an echogram and found severe regurgitation and stenosis in the aortic valve and moderately severe regurgitation in the mitral valve. Being on the public health system I have been waiting for several months for an angiogram. I still have not been given a date for my operation.
