I am a very active adult male aged 66. I've had a heart "murmer" all my life. I really never knew what Aortic Stenosis was until it was explained to me by my cardiologist. I never really had any concern with it. I was in the submarine service for 6 years and a police sergent for 22 years with this murmer. I was a professional SCUBA instructor training well over a 1000 students. I workout 3 to 5 days aweek at the YMCA. Can you imagine my surprise when I was told I need heart surgery!!!!!!
