Rheumatic fever at age 3. Diagnosed as severe October 2011, Cardiologist recommended mechanical valve replacement for March 2012 with lifelong Warfarin medication required. Currently evaluating Ross Procedure (Cardiologist did not mention this option), and hopeful that a valve repair might be possible. Live in Australia. Can only see one surgeon who does the Ross Procedure in Melbourne Australia. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you.
