I was diagnosed with mitral stenosis,regurg and an atrial fibrillation back it 1997. Since that time I have been waiting for the right pressure numbers and time for the surgery. To put myself in the best possible position for the surgery I have lost weight, learned a lot more about all the procedures and worked on getting mentally set for the surgery. I am about one week away from the surgery and am looking forward to having it over. Thanks for the web site I know it has helped thousands who are facing this daunting prospect.
