About Me
At 55 y.o., I was very active, until...
my volleyball league had just gone into recess, I was playing in an adult baseball league and running in an occasional triathlon. I had a series of small heart attacks, due to clogged arteries from high cholesterol. I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs. I eat very well - my body makes it's own cholesterol. They did a double bypass and saw that I have a bi-cuspid aortic valve. I was told that would probably need to be replaced within the next 5 years. 15 months later - it's time! Do I get an artificial valve or tissue valve?? I only have about 2 weeks to decide.
