A little late, but just as exciting! 4 years post-op and today I shared with a friend tips for post-op. The best piece of advice came from Adam Pick's book - MOVE! i took that to heart and will post more later ;)

Never as much as when I was a baby did I appreciate my mom as much as I have this past year. She drove 20 hours to get me home, when I had pneumonia & had just found out I not only had a congenital heart defect but also that I was going to have open hear
