I think it is somewhat normal to have increased BP after a valve repair for two reasons. One, you where on blood pressure medication during and after your surgery. Two, your valve was leaking which would make the pressure less. It is fixed now so you pressure is elevated. Your body should adjust over time. If not, your doctor can put you on a low dose of medication.
