Hi Sharon, Welcome to HVJ! I had my aortic valve replaced May 20th and found this site, and everyone here, to be incredibly helpful and reassuring. Don't worry too much about the breathing tube. It was one of the things I was most concerned about but it really wasn't bad.... Read more.
