Roland, I hope you are continuing to heal. I had AVR and tricuspid repair August 1 expertly performed by Dr. Gaudiani in Mountain View. 6 1/2 months into recovery I'm doing well, but still have to be patient with myself. Take it easy and trust that each day brings healing. One of the nurses in the hospital said Dr. Guadiani was nicknamed "god" because of his reputation and expertise. You were in great hands.

Well I ended up at Duke because my best friend is a Neurosurgeon herein Denver, he went to Harvard and then to Columbia med school. Two of his friends from Columbia are cardio thoracic doctors and said that Dr Glower is who they would go to for aortic valve replacement, they got me an appt I flew out and he seemed great so here I am. I mentioned him toDr Castro and he knew who he was. I also talked with Cleveland Clinic but they wanted to do different type of procedure. Yes you are very fortunate too have those two drs close. In denver the drs I contacted were doing like 20 valves a year. Well again good luck with recovery.
