Robert, you amaze me!! Doing a puchup? That's incredible--course, just still a "young fellow!" Coughing and sneezing probably hurts more because it's from the inside out--well, that's my theory, anyway! I'm glad you're on antibiotics. I've always been told to go to the doctor STAT when you feel something like that coming on! Thanks for the update and I'm so happy you are doing well.
Robert, I'm so glad you are doing well. Driving at 2.5 weeks? I remember trying that at 4 week after my aotic valve replacement. Drove around the block, decided the doctor was right--it really hurt--drove back home and waited for several more weeks!! Sounds like your hospital stay was long, but you are doing so well now. Keep up the good work!! I have my mitral valve replaced at Cleveland Clinic on July 25th. I hope to do as well as you did!!
Hey Bubba! I guess you are holding up pretty well for an old fart! Glad to see you are getting around the hospital a bit. I know you are ready to go home and let Jane take care of you!!!!!! Get Well SOON! CJO'M
Trick for getting out of bed: Some beds have a place you can hook your foot under. Then do a sit-up using your abs. Now pivot on your butt and put your feet down. Alternative is to have someone hold your ankles while doing the sit-up. Reverse the steps to get back in bed. No chest twisting - no pain. -- DVB
Tony, even tho I'm not able to be with you, you know I love you very much. Jane told me you are doing fine except for pain. I hope that is under control now. I want to call you and will when you feel like it. Jane says she will let me know. Hopefully you will be going home very shortly....maybe I'll take another trip and come see you.
HEY UNCLE BUB... lookin multiple times a day for any updates. Hope the surgery went well. i don't wanna disturb you on the phone in case you're trying to rest. Let us know that you're ok when ... you're ok enough to let us know!!! love you love you love you ~Mary
Bubba ~ we are praying for you and the care you receive before, during and after your surgery. May God be with each and everyone involved. Did you leave a note saying we are taking care of your Mustang while you have surgery and through your recovery time? That is what I thought! Just kidding. Our thoughts are with you during this time. Do what they tell you to do and you will be good as new.

My best to you for your surgery. Had my cath yesterday - as you probably read. I have no pain or bruising or anything. It's like ti wasn't even done. Meeting with my surgeon today and surgery tomorrow.
