Hi Pat. I hope the Lasix works for you. I had to have a thoracentesis (twice) after my surgery to drain the fluid from my left lung. While the procedure is not the most pleasant thing, it is relatively quick. I felt so much better afterward that it was well... Read more.

Hi Pat,
Immediately after surgery, my blood sugar level jumped to 150. I received insulin for about 3 days and it returned to normal (for me about 90). I do not have a history of diabetes, however my mother developed it in her early 70's. My doctors attributed my spike... Read more.
