Hi Nancy, I'm 63 retired RN. my mitral valve is leaking worse now. I was advised to have a Trans esophageal echocardiogram. What cardiologist at St. Charles Hospital Bend Oregon would you recommend to do it? I've never had this before. Thanks and Jesus bless you my dear. Dawn (May 2017)

Hi Nancy, Great news!!! I\'m so happy you are doing so well!!! Congrats to order flowers and balloons for yourself for your \"birthday\"! You\'ll appreciate what I did for myself, too. Years ago soon after my divorce I decided to treat myself. I had flowers delivered to me at school and all who saw them thought I had a new suitor. I didn\'t say a word, just enjoyed the fun of it all! You probabaly know that Marvin had two open-heart surgeries, back to back on 9/24/10 and on 10/26/10, and is doing great now. He continues to exercise with a personal trainer, even after his cardiac rehab 3 mo. 3xwk. program ended. He looks great, has a great attitude, and is quite an example his \"80th\" birthday this June 6th. He certainly doesn\'t seem that age! Love, Carol V.

Great update Nancy. I am two weeks post op and love seeing what my future holds. Thanks so much for coming back to HVJ and posting an update. It is SO helpful for those of us in the early stages of recovery. Happ Birthday!!!!! -Mitch Friedman
