Linda...I have had PACs for years and they used to bug the crap out of me and wake me up at night. I found that by eliminating most of my caffeine intake, it helped tremendously. I may have a few cups of coffee in the morning but never any caffeine after 12 noon. I also do not drink any sodas. The PACs are now so infrequent that I rarely have them. They may show up occassionally if I have had too many beers, but that is about it. Not sure if you have tried this yet, but wanted to offer my experience. Hope this helps.

Linda, I had open heart mitral valve surgery 7/12/11 - it was a successful repair and a partial maze at Cleveland Clinic. This was my third successful procedure at CCF.

I had an afib ablation in Oct 08 and then in Feb 09 I had a PVC ablation - both successful. I had had afib and pvc's for 10 years - I know your pain and not knowing where to go but just knowing I could not stand it much longer. I am from VA Beach and the local doctors could not do anything with either of these. A 24 hr monitor showed I was have 32,000 pvc's a day.- and I felt everyone of them - DR. Walid Saliba (EP) at Cleveland Clinic is a miracle worker - my last monitor showed 147 pvc's - which I don't even notice.he fixed me. Contact me if you want more information. Emilyrae Helfen

Linda

I am 3 months post op. I need to lift 40+ pounds for work on a regular basis. I have been slowly lifting weights to build up my strength. I am amazed by how much strenth I lost in my arms and chest. I still am not up to lifting 40+ pounds on a regular basis. I usually have to rest for a day between work outs. It is mostly muscular pain but I can feel it in my sternum also.

It must have been good beer if it weighed 25 -30 lbs!!!
