Hi Larry, its been a couple of days since your surgery, i hope everything is going good for you. wishing you all the best from the central coast. hope you are doing good as-well Lesley. keep your chin up. Thinking of you both.
hey there Mum and Larry, really glad everything is ok, If the morphine is making you sick ask for pethidine, i think that one keeps you very merry also. Sorry im stuck in sunny scotland and cant be there but glad you have this journal as it makes it very easy to stay in touch and up to date with the process. Just liek you two it is very informative. Take care, have a speedy recovery and ill call again in the next day or two. Jen xxx
Great report and I'm glad to hear Larry is doing as well as expected this early. I will pray he continues to heal and recover slow and steady. My best to you both. I hope you are getting a good rest Lesley. This is very tiring on the caregivers as well.
Good to hear Larry is done and doing fine. That's the first big step. Hope you manage to get some well deserved shut-eye tonight as tomorrow Larry will probably be alert all day and looking for some company. Take care.
What great news!! Hope you were prepared for all the tubes, etc you would see when you finally got to see Larry in the CICU. Little by little they will be removed and of course the biggest one is the endotracheal tube, necessary for breathing but once normal breathing is established it will come out to Larry and everyone else's relief. Prayers for an excellent recovery.
Welcome aboard. Just wanted to stop by and wish you lots of luck tomorrow. We'll all be looking forward to Lesley's update telling us you are okay. Keep positive and just keep thinking this will soon be over. In the meantime I'll be keeping you in my prayers for a very successful surgery and quick recovery.
Glad you found the HVJ. It's an amazing way to keep family and friends updated on you as you progress through your surgery and recovery. There are a lot of us here who have been through our surgery and others in a holding pattern. My surgery was March 18th and I had a tissue mitral valve and a tricuspid repair. Progress has been slow but is coming along. Sounds like you've been given lots of info during your pre-op visit, but ask anything you want to know and someone here will have an answer for you. Best of luck.
