Amazingly there have been several people on the HVJ who knew nothing of their heart condition until the symptoms reared their ugly head as yours did. Yours was in a scary fashion, however. Sounds like you're getting good care and decisions will be made so that you will have a healthy heart and no more frightening surprises.Did you find this site after reading Adam's book? If you have not read it, would recommend you do so. It's full of info that will come in handy in the weeks ahead. Also, as Theresa said, there are lots of us who would be willing to answer any questions you might have. They helped me prepare for my double valve surgery this past March 18th.
