Atrial Fib will hopefully go away. Watch the drugs and the potentila side effects: Hyper thyroid. At first that on is not too bad as you will lose weight from it. But, eventually it can cause bad problems IF the meds happen to cause that in you. If you see the sky turning a bit greenish and the clouds becoming yellow, then you know it is happening. Been there, done that. But, the AFib did eventually go away, for the most part. Stay away from caffine as that will make it worse.

Jeff, thanks for all your posts and words of encouragement. Glad to read you are doing so well. I am 6 weeks from aortic aneurysm and maybe aortic valve replacement. I have had incidents of Afib occasionally for the last 35 years, so Ill also be getting the afib reduction maze procedure. It is hard not to be scared and reading your posts has helped. So thanks again and keep getting better.

Yes, the nausea is simply the side effect of the pain meds and the anathesia(sp). The body does not like that stuff and tries all of its tricks to get it out! Plenty of water and getting up and moving around, as hard as that may be, will help the body to cleanse itself. It also helps with the healing and returning to \"normal.\" It\'s day 3 and the worst should be over today. From this point on it will be improvement after improvement and you will start to recognise the \"new man\" reality of your future. Hang in there and know that we are praying for you. Hope to see you soon here in NZ trying out some extreme sports!
