Hi there - I was trying to catch up with people from the past and googled your name and came up with this. Wow. I have thought about you often and hoped you are well - as I have thought about the rest of our team. But I had no idea that you were dealing with major surgery. I\'m glad that it went well and hope you and Brad are doing well. Love to you - Jennifer & Dave

Hi Brad & Darlene.....I am SO glad you are doing well and feeling good. It has been nice to get your updates. Saturday is the anniversary of Uncle Ray\'s accident and we are going to have just a short graveside ceremony as I am home for Thanksgiving. It will be short and small and I do not want to ask you to make the long trip for such a short ceremony but wanted you to be aware of it. I think it will give me a sense of closure as I was so in shock last year. Hugs to both of you......Aunt Linda

Darlene, I am 5 months post op. I just wanted to let you know that the numbness is normal and will take months to go away but it will. My surgeon said that where they make the incision between the 4th and 5th rib, that\'s right were the nerves to the nipple are. My nipple is still numb but over the past month it has gotten alot better. My entire right pectoral was numb at first. When my nerves first started coming back, a few months ago, it was very irritating to even have a t-shirt touch my chest. That has gone away and now it\'s mainly my nipple I\'ve also had a slight increase in pain when my nerves gain more feeling. It\'s not bad pain though and certainly doesn\'t require pain meds.
