Being 12 weeks since my own Ascending Aorta and BAV repair, I can tell you that Adam's book was great to read before and also helped my wife and family with their preparation. You have and will continue to get advice, but make sure that you allow your supporting cast to support you and don't try to do too much at the beginning. Lean on them, thats what they're there for. I sent your book to my daughter so she could read it before my surgery. She did read it and it helped both of us a lot. Peace be with you. I believe that I will suffer, but God will overcome!
