Tip For Treating A Heart Surgery Scar
Zoila just wrote to me, “Hello Adam - I am 35 years old and had the Ross procedure on August 26, 2008 with Doctor Starnes (as my surgeon). I have a question for you. The area of my incision is drying up. Can you give me tips on how to care for it?”
My response to Zoila could be as short as three words… It’s called Mederma.

My incision healed incredibly well thanks to this product. Today, my scar is barely visible. Click here to see my healed scar and learn more about this unique skin gel for incision care after open heart surgery.
Keep on tickin!

I do not know wether my other comment went through so I will submit again. My massage therapist who has training in myofascia therapy has greatly decreased her husband’s scar from a sternotomy years ago. She said it was awful. She is going to help me with mine when I get the doctors OK. Do not try this without your Dr saying OK. I have found from back surgery in ‘06 that I developed scarring inside too. This was minimally invasive and through the ribs. Just another idea!
