If you are interested, please email me at adam@heart-valve-surgery.com as soon as possible.

Please note the Incision Shield is designed for people having open-heart surgery. If you are having minimally invasive surgery (e.g. non-invasive mitral valve repair), this product will not really help you.

Also, this is completely free!!! You do not even need to pay for shipping. Plus, it seems like the Incision Shield is helping patients including John Turan.

I emailed you previously about this; but later realized you were out of supply. If you have any left by the time you get this email, could you please spare one for me? My surgery is April 24th at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn (Long Island) NY. I’m having a full sternotomy to replace my aorta (large aneurysm) and my aortic valve (bicuspid with severe stenosis). I would so appreciate it. My address is: 32 Springs Drive Melville, NY 11747. Also, have you heard any information about “surgi-support vests?” They don’t use them at St. Francis; but they seem useful and are reasonably priced. I wonder if anyone (especially females) have used them and liked them. Thank you more than you can ever know! Bless you, Victoria Marino

Okay Victoria… An Incision Shield is on its way to you! I’ll send it out Monday.

FYI, I’m not very familiar with “surgi-support vests”. What are they?

Only 7 Incision Shields left everybody…. These go quick! So email if you are interested!!!

Keep on tickin,

Adam

If you are going in for open heart surgery, I HIGHLY recommend the use of one of these incision shields. I used one for about 3 weeks after my surgery and it worked very well! Definitely keeps clothing off of your incision…which is a wonderful thing!

Thanks again for sending me one before my surgery.

Doug

The date for my aortic valve replacement has not been set as yet–tentatively July 1. I don’t know enough to know if I should request the shield, except that I will not have the minimally-invasive surgery. If you think it would help me, I would appreciate receiving one. If you have others with more pressing needs than mine, then I’ll understand if you can’t send it.

You’ve already helped me so much with your book and by my receiving the blog. Thanks so much for the work you’re doing. I’m not nearly as afraid as I was before reading your book. Rosemary

Thank you so much!! The surgi-suppprt vest is on a link from the website for Heart Huggers. I’ve since learned that I’m not a candidate for its use, anyway. But thank you for asking. Regards, Victoria

Hi,

I am having heart surgery on April 25 and am very nervous. I am having my bicuspid aortic valve replaced with the Ross procedure. The procedure will be done at Baptist hospital in Winston-Salem, NC. Can you spare one of your remaining Incision shields for me
