I recently received a good question that reads, “Adam – I will need to have mitral valve replacement surgery [1] in the near future. I have mitral regurgitation and its quite severe [2]. I was curious if you know of any website that has a video which shows what happens during a mitral valve replacement operation?”
It just so happens I do know where you can watch a mitral valve replacement surgery video. In fact, I just found a minimally invasive mitral valve replacement surgery video on Youtube.com. FYI, the surgeon only requires a two-inch incision during the surgery.
