Adam, I have just sent you an e-mail that is vital to me as it concerns your visit to Edwards. As you know - I had an Aortic Valve re-do in Nov. Everything went very well I am back to full strength in less than three months. But...I have questions similar to Ken Delkescamp: What went wrong with the first valve and how can I prevent failure in the second valve? I too want to maximize the life expectancy of my new valve.

Thank you for your help,

Adam,

Is there anything valve recipients can do to slow or halt calcium deposits that may develope. Any foos to avoid? Any vitamin supplements to avoid? How can we maximise the life expectancy of replacement tissue valves?

Regards,

Sounds like a great opportunity. That's where my biological valve came from. How's their warranty? Ha ha I need a lifetime one. Bill Mikkelsen, Orem, Utah
