Hi I had open HEART SURGERY 5 weeks ago and i really do have Inicision pain I can not wear a shirt nor even cover my chest at bedtime so if you still have Free Units i sure would like to try one, thank you

Adam, just finished reading your book and found it very informative. I have aortic valve replacement surgery scheduled for next month and many of the questions I had were answered in the book. I am interested in receiving a free incision shield if they are still available. Thank you in advance.

MY FATHER HAD HEART SURGERY AND HAS PAIN FROM THE SCAR. NOTHING CAN TOUCH HIS SKIN OR HE GETS SHOOTING PAIN. PLEASE IF YOU THINK THIS WILL HELP I WOULD LOVE ONE EVEN IF ITS NOT FREE.

Hello, I am writing in regards to my 13 year old son, who just recently is recovering from Mitral and Aortic valve repairs due to bacterial endocardits. He is very active in sports and is concerned about protecting his incision. We were wandering if you could help us out with obtaining a shield for our son. It would be much appreciated. Ya know, I don’t know if the Inicision Shield was designed specifically for use with active children playing baseball.

But, given the design of the shield it might just work.

HI Adam..
My daughter had open heart surgery as an infant and requires another one in the next couple of years. She is now 6 years old and playing baseball, I’m looking for something small, but protective of her scar and sternum which didn’t heal properly and sticks out a little. Would this product help with that? She also requires a cooling vest, so would this help under the vest for some added protection?

My surgery is scheduled for April 24, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn (Long Island) NY. I would like to try the incision shield because I have a rather heavy cat who sometimes climbs on my chest when I am sleeping. I am very worried about this. I know it sounds silly. I guess it wouldn’t be a problem if I can sleep on my side, post-operatively. But I don’t know if I’ll be able to!! If you can, would you send me a shield? Or do you have any information about sleeping on ones side after open-heart surgery? Thank you so much for all your help. I’m almost done with your book; and find it most helpful! I can’t thank you enough for writing your book. It has given me so much insight into what I am about to journey into. My surgery is scheduled for May 20th. I will have a subaorticic membrane removed, my aortic valve replaced and possibly my aorta replaced. (That decision will be made during surgery) I read above that you are out of the incision shields, but if you get any in before my surgery, I would be very grateful to receive one. Sharing your experience has obviously had a profound impact on many people, myself included. Thank you!
