Ross Procedure Conference With Magdi Yacoub, Lincoln, Nebraska

October 23rd, 2007

Hey everybody,

I was recently at the “Controversies and Advances Conference For Cardiologists and Heart Surgery” at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. It was a very interesting meeting. The best part was Dr. Eric Roselli, an old friend of mine, was speaking at the conference. Eric is now a staff surgeon at The Cleveland Clinic specializing in aortic valve replacements.

While at this conference, I met Judie Vivian from Promedica. She informed me that a special Ross Procedure Conference is being held in Lincoln, Nebraska during October 26 and October 27, 2007. The Ross Procedure conference is officially called “The Heartland Series – Aortic Valve and Root Symposium I”.

Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub will be speaking at this unique, Ross Procedure conference along with other course directors – Dr. William F. Northrup, III, MD, Dr. Edward Raines, MD, JD, and Dr. Ryan Whitney, MD. As you may have read in prior blogs, Dr. Edward Raines performed the Ross Procedure on Roger Sudbeck, one of my readers.
