Heart Valve Surgeon Directory…. Your Thoughts?

Heart Valve Surgery Directory Hey everybody,

I am thinking of creating a database of all the heart valve surgeons around the world.

Essentially, the database / heart valve surgeon directory would let you search for heart valve surgeons by country, by city and by reputation.

We could create a surgeon input form where you could insert information about your surgeon, as well as, your thoughts about your heart valve repair or replacement experience with that surgeon.

What do you think? Is a heart valve surgeon directory a good idea? Bad idea?

Do you think it would be useful?

I think it’s a great idea. Too bad it’s not already available. I’m meeting with a surgeon in about two weeks (Oct 18, 2007) and I’m wondering if you have any information or recommendations for heart surgeons in Las Vegas, NV.

I’m also from Las Vegas, NV. I have my surgical doctor here that is so close to performing valve replacement in about 3 weeks, until I discovered Ranewy Zusman medical group at Hoags Hospital in New Port Beach, Ca.
I’m hoping I’ll be a candidate for the Robotic Surgery . I think your information and suggestions would be a great benefit to all people facing heart surgery and to there families. Please continue this idea it’s very much needed. If I am not excepted for this prodcedure can you suggest a surgeron at UCLA.

I wish this was available now. Having a hard time finding information on surgeons for my father and would love to have information that I don’t have to pay for.
