Keyhole Aortic Valve Replacement - Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (Technology Update)

GLADYS ADAMS (89 YEARS OLD) HAS KEYHOLE AORTIC VALVE REPLACMENT PERFORMED IN BRITAIN - NON-INVASIVE AORTIC VALVE REPLACMENT SUCCESSFUL
As some of you know, I’ve been looking around trying to find technology advances specific to heart valve surgery. In this blog (below), I have already discussed non-invasive mitral valve repair using the DaVinci Robotic Surgical System (click for review and video). We even found a video illustrating the benefits of this new technique.
Well, it turns out I was able to find some very new information about a minimally invasive cardiac surgery for aortic valve replacements. Gladys Adams, was the first patient to have this aortic valve replacement surgery performed in Britain. To read and learn more about minimally invasive aortic valve surgery, please click here.
Cheers to Gladys!!!
