Hey everybody,
I thought you might want to see some of the latest technology used by surgeons for mitral valve repairs. The [1] minimally invasive mitral valve repair procedure using robots and robotic processing has several advantages versus the traditional cracked sternum approach - faster healing, less pain, etc.
In this video, you will see [2] Doctor Vaughn Starnes of USC Medical center use robots to perform a mitral valve repair. I will let Doctor Starnes use the video to show and tell you about the mitral valve repair using the Da Vinci Surgical System. Here’s the link:
